This very land which was desolate has become a Garden of Eden; And the cities which were destroyed, and where desolate and ruined shall be fortified - inhabited!
Ezekiel 36:35 |
The above prophecy speaks of the transformation of the land from desolation to new life. My window represents this transformation.
The window is a combination of three drawings. One drawing is a desolate desert landscape, another a lush landscape and the third the Hebrew words of the prophet.
I drew the lush landscape inside the letters and the desert landscape outside the letters. In this way the words themselves transform the desolate land into a Garden of Eden.
The window was commissioned by Temple Emau-El located at 735 Kennedy Boulevard, Bayonne, New Jersey 07002 (201) 436 4499.
